Homework Policy

    Your third grader will have homework Monday-Thursday. He/She should be working on homework for approximately 30 minutes daily. They will have Spelling, Language Arts, and Math everyday! At times, we will also have other subjects to study as well as projects or reports that will be assigned. On the first week of school, your child received a Homework Planner which they record their homework in each day. There is also a place for them to record their weekly Spelling words and other reminders. This Planner needs to be checked and signed by a parent daily. This allows us all to stay organized and to keep in contact! Please encourage your child to follow healthy homework habits! It is very important to establish this habit at the beginning of the school year and to remain consistent with their homework plan. Always remember my motto: Teacher  + Parent + Student = SUCCESS
